How far is Salsomaggiore station from the spa?
About 15 minutes on foot to the centre, across Parco Mazzini, according to Emilia-Romagna's tourist board.
The station itself is worth a look: built in 1937 in white and pink travertine, it was designed by the engineer Aldo Cervi as a smaller version of Milan's central station. The walk passes the Terme Zoja in Parco Mazzini and ends at Piazza Lorenzo Berzieri, where the spa and the tourist office stand. It is the start of our Liberty walk.

Can you drive to Salsomaggiore, and where do you park?
Yes: leave the A1 at Fidenza-Salsomaggiore Terme. The tourist office points to the car park on Via Roma, a few metres from the Galleria Warowland and the Berzieri.
The area around the Berzieri is pedestrian. A car makes it easy to add the hills: the winery tasting at Cantina il Poggio is at Località Cangelasio 199, in the comune of Salsomaggiore, and one guest advises driving there via Salsomaggiore, after getting stuck on a muddy farm track on another route. Tabiano Terme, Fidenza and the Labirinto della Masone are all a short drive away.

A vineyard, a cellar and five wines with five pairings, a short drive up from the spa.

Yes, but not on the coach: the Shopping Express from Milan returns from the Village at 17:00. Take the train instead, and use Fidenza station for both.
The Shopping Express leaves Piazza della Repubblica 5 in Milan at 9:45 and returns from the Village at 17:00; the official fare is EUR 10, and the GetYourGuide version costs about $11 with a VIP card for an extra 10% off. Fidenza Village, at Via Federico Fellini 1, has more than 120 boutiques and usually opens 10:00 to 20:00; a shuttle runs from Fidenza station, though we could not confirm its timetable. Its Verdi-themed design even includes an area named after the Berzieri. For more, see our sister site FidenzaVillage.Parma.it.

The Village's own coach from central Milan, with a VIP card for an extra 10% off at participating boutiques.
Explore the Shopping Express to Fidenza VillageIs there a tour with transport to Salsomaggiore?
Not one we could find. The tours here meet in Salsomaggiore, and the only private day starts at the Berzieri and is non-refundable.
The private Liberty and spa day ($238 per person) lists the Terme Berzieri as its meeting point and mentions pickup on request; it is not wheelchair accessible, confirmation comes within 48 hours, and it cannot be cancelled or changed. For most visitors, the train and the spa ticket are simpler: prices are in QC Terme prices and hours.
